Dar Maha is an authentic Kasbah-style house, built entirely of dry stone and situated in the wooded part, a protected area of argan trees, of the village of El Ghazoua, 2km from the sea, 7km from Essaouira airport and 8km from the Medina of Essaouira.

Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 160 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 4
Room, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 160 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom. This bedroom includes also air conditioning.

Room 5
Master bedroom, 1st floor. This bedroom has 1 double bed 180 cm. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. separate WC room. This bedroom includes also air conditioning, living area, dressing room.

Note: rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.


Indoors

The exterior walls, covered in a mixture of straw and lime, combined with the massive columns, inlaid with oceanic pebbles, bear witness to a subtle combination of the regional style of the local countryside and reminders of the immediate proximity of the Atlantic Ocean.

On the ground floor, the main body of the house comprises a small lounge with fireplace, a large lounge/dining room with fireplace and an open-plan kitchen.
All opening onto a patio with fountain on one side and a terrace on the other.


Outdoors

The exterior is a permanent invitation to discover and relax. A vast 4500 m² garden surrounds the house, with olive, argan and palm trees creating a verdant oasis. The swimming pool (15 x 5 metres - depth: 1.50 metres), heated on request, is the heart of this outdoor space, surrounded by deckchairs for idyllic sunbathing.
Petanque enthusiasts will love the floodlit bowls alley, with a shaded terrace where you can watch the games in peace and quiet. Several outdoor dining areas are available: a large terrace with a barbecue by the pool and a more intimate one by the kitchen for meals under the stars. The rooftop offers a yoga area (9 x 8 metres) overlooking the garden, ideal for wellness sessions in harmony with nature.


Staff and services

The price includes daily morning housekeeping, final cleaning, and a caretaker. Additional cleaning time is available upon request and at an extra charge (payable in advance).

All meals are traditional Moroccan cuisine. Meal reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Additionally, meals for children up to 3 years old are free.

For evening service: the cook is available from approximately 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM to prepare, serve, and clear dinner: €30/evening. Grocery delivery: starting from €30.

Please note that the housekeeper/cook leaves her service no later than 9:30 PM.
