Venice you imagine the romantic city with its canals, St. Mark's Square full of pigeons and its unmissable carnival, yet it is also a perfect destination to celebrate Halloween. You can also visit the medieval town of Corinaldo, south of San Marino, a few hours drive from
Florence, which hosts a special event during this period, the "Witches' Festival". Throughout the city you can enjoy scary processions, haunted markets, live music and fireworks. During this period Corinaldo celebrates the witches of which the inhabitants are said to be descendants, so during the last 4 days of October they celebrate in their honour.
