Although traveling to Asia requires several formalities, traveling in Indonesia is easier than you might think. The only requirements include an up-to-date passport that is still valid 6 months after the date of return and a visa. The latter is free of charge and is valid for 30 days on the territory. For a trip exceeding this duration, it is very simple to renew your tourist visa on the spot, at a cost of 40 euros. No vaccinations are compulsory, although some are recommended.
Bali's climate is tropical, which means that it is hot all year round. There are however 2 seasons in Bali: the dry season and the rainy season. The rainy season, from November to March, is far from the clichés of flooding that you might expect.
