A day on the historic island of Elba

Belonging to the Tuscan archipelago and located between Corsica and Tuscany, the island of Elba is particularly well known for having been the place of exile of Napoleon I in the early 19th century. Elba is the largest island in the Tuscan archipelago and the third largest in Italy after Sardinia and Sicily. Like eight other islands, including Giglio, Giannutri and Montecristo, it is part of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. But what makes Elba so famous and renowned is its clear blue waters and extraordinary beaches.

The impressive richness of its landscapes, both land and sea, makes Elba a unique destination in Tuscany. This little corner of paradise has nothing to envy the more exotic destinations of the Caribbean! Of course, you won't be able to see everything in one day on Elba, so you'll have to make the most of your time by taking the ferry early in the morning.
