The state of Florida offers a multitude of attractions all more exciting than the others. In the heart of this Southeastern region of the United States, the charming city of Kissimmee is far less known than Miami, Orlando, or Tampa, but is also worth visiting.
Despite its glamorous name, Kissimmee is certainly more discreet than its neighbour Orlando known for its Walt Disney World Resort, but contributes in its own way to the tourist popularity of its state.
The city located on the North shore of Lake Tohopekaliga has a range of recreational facilities that will delight young and old alike. An example of this is the old quarter of Old Town, located to the West of the city, which is a giant fair filled with amusement rides, gambling kiosks and souvenir shops.
Endearingly friendly, it is also regularly animated by open-air shows and is a delight for racing enthusiasts thanks to its collector car shows.
