The Home

In summary

Villa Dar El Salam is located along the Argan forest, 12km from Essaouira, 6km from the new Mogador golf course and 8km from the airport. Essaouira's main beach is 10 minutes away by car. 


Indoors 

This beautiful colonial private property covers 3,500m² of gardens and consists of a main villa and a pavillion. The main house of 450 sqm is inspired by former noble Portuguese houses. The pavillion covers 200 sqm.

Main house:

Ground floor:
- A dining room and living room of 60m², air conditioned
- A kitchen fully equipped 17m²
- A washbasin
- Two bedrooms: one of 15m² with a double bed of 160cm × 200cm with ensuite bathroom (shower), one of 18m² with a double bed and a single bed (may be used as extra bed) with ensuite bathroom (shower).
Each bedroom is air conditioned, TV and DVD player.

Upstairs:
- Three bedrooms: A double bedroom of 20m² with 180 × 200cm bed, ensuite bathroom (bath), a 17m² double bedroom with 200cm double bed and additional single bed, a 15m² double bedroom with a bed of 160 × 200cm.
- Shared bathroom in the last two bedrooms (shower).
Each bedroom is air conditioned, TV and DVD player.

In the pavilion:
- Four bedrooms of 12m² each with double beds of 160 × 200cm,
- Shared bathroom (shower).


Outdoors​ 

- Large 25m² equipped terrace for al fresco lunch and dinner
- Large open living room of 35m²
- Large heated swimming pool of 75m² pool, depth of 0.50m to 2.00m

- The reservation price does not include optional incidentals or on-request items which will be added to your final bill.

- Any booking modification or cancellation must be sent to us by email
- Cancellation policy is applied according to villa local time
- For all cancellations, the initial guarantee deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation occurs less than 60 Days to arrival day : 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo.
- No show 100 % of total amount of reservation is due to Villanovo

Magnifique jardin, très belle piscine et petit terrain de tennis qui a été super apprécié par nos petits enfants.
Très belle cheminée dans la salle à manger.
Le patio est magnifique.
Le service proposé par le personnel est incroyable.
Les chambres de la dépendance sont trop exposées au froid en hiver. Dans la plus grande chambre, nous avons trouvé le lit peu inconfortable
Assez grande différence dans le confort des différentes chambres de la maison.
2 chiens qui aboient la nuit.

Le charme fou de l’ancien, le cadre est magnifique, la maison est très belle. L’espace extérieur et la piscine sont superbes. Le tennis, boulodrome et ping-pong, un plus très sympa. Les fleurs à profusion, partout, sont idylliques. Vacances familiales très réussies, dans un cadre de rêve…
Les chambres de l’annexe sont sombres et petites malgré de très jolies salles de bains.
Yassine est très sympathique et une source très efficace de renseignements mais nous avons payé 30€ tous les jours pour lui faire faire des courses, compte tenu du prix de location de la maison, très supérieur aux autres sites.

Impeccable service de Villanovo. Mathilde Rossi a été très professionnelle et au taquet. Merci, Mathilde.
Nous avons trouvé le prix par repas trop élevés. Nous avons des amis qui avaient loué d'autres villas à Essaouira et le prix par repas s'élevait à la moitié du prix de nos repas.
Nous avons souhaité que la température de la piscine soit de +/- 24/25°C. Nous avons donc demandé de chauffer la piscine avant et pendant notre séjour. Il s'avère que le prix du chauffage est également très élevé.

Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine superbe.
Toutes les parties communes sont à la fois confortables et typiques avec un décor magnifique.
Le personnel est aux petits soins. Yassine est adorable et réactif, et veille toujours à ce que rien ne nous manque avec sa gentillesse naturelle.

Je recommande Villanovo car les maisons proposées sont fidèles et même mieux par rapport au site internet.
Et tout au long de la réservation, il y a eu une écoute et une réactivité de la part des personnes qui y travaillent.
C 'est important surtout quand on part nombreux à l 'étranger. Je me suis sentie en confiance.
les salles de bain demanderaient un peu de rafraichissement

Des petits espaces ou l’on peux s’isoler lorsque grande famille, les terrains de sport très utilisés , piscine et transats bien adaptés.
Les chambres de l’annexe un peu succintes , seraient mieux adaptées avec des lits d’une personne pour les célibataires. Manque de lumière pour la première ou j’avais ma petite fille enceinte de 6 mois et son mari.

Beautiful property in excellent condition. Very nice garden and pool - all perfectly maintained by the gardener. Staff extremely nice and helpful in every situation (thank you, Yacine!). Also, delicious local food prepared by the excellent cooks. Good location a little outside Essaouira, but beaches and medina very easy to reach by car.
The only downside was the VERY hard beds/matrasses. These should be changed (we are not Fakirs :-)).

Un Majordome compétent est vraiment essentiel dans une grande maison , ce que je ne pensais pas au départ

The staff were beyond accommodating - their approach, manner and service was 110% Yaseem was friendly, professional and extremely helpful - thank you. Although the villa was fabulous it is the staff that made it! The chef and kitchen staff made every meal memorable. The staff have made the experience of staying in this villa a memory for life. Casa bellissima, comoda arredata con gusto ed attenzione.
Giardino con fiori stupendi,piscina grande e ben riscaldata.
Camera padronale con grande terrazzo,e tutte le altre camere con affaccio sul giardino.
Wifi funzionante, servizio impeccabile il personale ed in particolare il maggiordomo yassine gentilissimi e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità,un perfetto consierge.
La casa è a 10 minuti in macchina dalle spiagge e dal centro del villaggio.
Tutto perfetto, come essere in un hotel 5 stelle privato.

Villanovo : Agenzia seria,con case di alta qualità,sempre disponibili in ogni evenienza.

We were truly in paradise at the riad - not only was the property so amazing with the heated pool and our own tennis court, but the butler Yassin was out of this world. He played with the kids, he did the menus and bought all the food, he came with us to town (Essaouira) and was our tour guide, he was putting new decorations on the table for each meal, he put TONS of candles around the house (as I told him we loved candles) etc.
I have never witnessed someone so devoted to running a place and making visitors happy.

Also the 2 chefs in the kitchen preparing amazing food for us all the time - unbelievable….

Avons eu un petit malentendu concernant un mail que nous n'avons pas reçu concernant les dates.
Heureusement l'accueil à Essaouira fut impeccable et nous avons eu la chance que la maison n'était plus occupée!

L'ACCUEIL et le SERVICE, très bonne cuisine. Yassin parfait dans son rôle d'intendant à l'affut du moindre détail.
Les facilities et le court MULTI sport.
Deck autour de la piscine (chauffée) très agréable. Soirées au coin du feu.
VillaNovo nous a fait de tres bonnes recommendations. Capacité a personnaliser les reponses selon les attentes specifiques de ses clients. Merci !
