Avoriaz is located in the north of Haute Savoie, at an altitude of 1800m, in the centre of the Portes du Soleil ski area (the largest in Europe with 50 runs over 650km - 6 BLACK, 14 RED, 25 BLUE, 5 GREEN). The resort benefits from excellent snow conditions due to its location and a protected natural environment. Indeed, it is the French ski resort with the most snow (8 metres per year).
